Pakistan and Iraq Enhance Overseas Cooperation

Baghdad, Iraq: During an official visit to Iraq, Sajid Hussain Turi, the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, met with Ahmad Jassim Al-Asadi, the Minister for Labour in Iraq. The meeting focused on bilateral and mutual interests, with discussions regarding the facilitation of pilgrims from Pakistan and the potential for cooperation in labor export. Turi invited his Iraqi counterpart to visit Pakistan to sign a pending Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) related to the transmission of manpower between the two countries.
