The event, now in its 23rd edition, featured a remarkable lineup of Indian cinema’s biggest stars and talents. With the support of Miral and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the event attracted over 25,000 attendees, making it a sold-out success.
The iconic ‘W Abu Dhabi- Yas Island’ served as the official host hotel for the event, offering a stunning view of the Formula 1 racing circuit. A dedicated team ensured smooth logistics and security for the celebrity guests. Several iconic locations across Yas Island and Abu Dhabi were chosen as shooting locations for the event’s television content, reaching over 800 million viewers worldwide.
The Sobha Realty IIFA Rocks 2023, hosted by Farah Khan and Rajkummar Rao, featured dazzling performances by renowned artists like Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhbir Singh, Palak Muchhal, and Iulia Vantur.
The highlight of the event was the Nexa IIFA Awards 2023, featuring mesmerizing performances by Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Nora Fatehi, Rakul Preet Singh, and more. Anil Kapoor and Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General Tourism Sector – DCT Abu Dhabi, inaugurated the awards night.
Abu Dhabi’s Director General for Tourism, Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, expressed pride in hosting the event for the second consecutive year, highlighting Abu Dhabi’s appeal as a global destination. Yas Island’s Executive Director, Taghrid Alsaeed, emphasized the island’s role in promoting Abu Dhabi as a top tourism hub.
The event also featured a special collection by renowned designer Manish Malhotra, showcasing the fusion of “old-world charm meets the new world.” The grand finale celebrated the best of Indian cinema with the prestigious IIFA statuettes.

The event took place at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, a vibrant leisure and entertainment destination known for its theme parks, motorsports, golf venues, and world-class hospitality.
The captivating IIFA Awards ceremony will be exclusively broadcasted on India’s COLORS channel, promising a star-studded entertainment extravaganza.
