Record-Breaking Prize Money: US Open T20 Cricket Tournament

Margate: The richest T20 league in North America has been voted as the US Open T20 which is carded to take place from December 8 to 14 at the Central Broward Regional Park.
The tournament’s prize money is now up to US$250,000 which represents the highest ever purse for Cricket in these parts.
Speaking about the increase in prize money chairman of Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) Mahammad Qureshi said he was quite happy in increasing the prize money.
“We continue to be leaders when it comes to cricket administration in the United States and we are happy to have this sort of money available for the teams in 2023.
“We value our teams at the tournament and hence we decided that we wanted to give them something better. The owners are very dear to us and we want to make all of them happy and to let them know that they are valued stakeholders at the US Open”
The US Open T20 is the major cricket tournament in North America and has attracted a number of world stars over the years. It has become a major platform for local players.
