Dubai, UAE: The Dubai Police has recently carried out a series of workshops and training courses on smart police services, security procedures, and public safety measures for the drivers of National Taxi Company.

Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan, Acting Director of the General Department of Traffic, announced that the Dubai Police’s Traffic Institute held a series of workshops and training courses for the taxi drivers at the National Taxi Company, benefiting over 2,547 drivers.

He indicated that the drivers were trained on all the skills they needed on the road. They were introduced to different types of accidents, trained on issuing minor accident reports, and taught how to take proper photographs of damaged vehicles and upload them to the ‘We Are All Police’ program on the Dubai Police smart app.

Brig. bin Suwaidan continued: “During the workshops, the drivers learned about examples of violations caused by some drivers and the severe damage to lives and property. In addition to learning about traffic violations, they were taught how to sign up for traffic violation reduction courses.
