Dubai, UAE: A delegation from Dubai Police has recently visited the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) to boost cooperative efforts in implementing programmes for memorising the Holy Quran for employees and inmates at the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Establishments.
First Lieutenant Ahmad Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Head of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Tolerance at the General Department of Community Happiness at Dubai Police, headed Dubai Police’s delegation to the IACAD, where they were welcomed by Mr. Hamad Mohammed Al Khazraji, the Director of Maktoum Quran Learning Centres, and several staff members.
At the start of the meeting, Mr. Al Khazraji welcomed the delegation from the Dubai Police, expressing the commitment of IACAD to cooperate on shared projects and programmes.
Meanwhile, 1st Lt. Al Mazrouei confirmed the Dubai Police’s constant commitment to strengthen partnerships with all government departments, emphasising the benefits such collaborations bring to the community, including religious programmes that enhance noble values and promote awareness of the Islamic faith.
The two parties discussed the implementation of Quran memorisation programmes for police staff and their families and setting up memorisation circles for inmates of punitive and correctional establishments in Dubai.
