Dubai, UAE: In a celebratory statement marking World Humanitarian Day, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, reaffirmed that humanitarianism is deeply woven into the culture and mindset of the UAE’s leadership and people, embraced in their regional and international relationships.
He added, “It further fosters the system of human values and promotes civilizational dialogue among nations, which is clearly demonstrated by the international humanitarian assistance extended by the UAE government under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, to relieve the suffering of the needy, comforting the distressed, and providing aid to the vulnerable and affected individuals in diverse disasters and hardship.”
Moreover, Lt. Gen. Al Marri emphasized the UAE is committed to alleviating the consequences of natural and humanitarian crises. Annually, global campaigns from the UAE inspire worldwide participation, emphasizing the shared value of human life, regardless of cultural, ethnic, or religious affiliations.”
Furthermore, the Commander-in-Chief confirmed that Dubai Police is fully aligned with the state’s vision and strategies to enhance a sustainable journey of charitable and humanitarian endeavors, including implementing significant humanitarian projects and initiatives that have a far-reaching impact on diverse communities and future generations.

Gen. Al Marri concluded.
