Dubai, UAE – In a significant move towards enhancing international cooperation in the fight against money laundering, cross-border crimes, and cybercrimes, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, welcomed His Excellency Drew Harris, Commissioner of An Garda Siochána, and his accompanying delegation to the Dubai Police Officers Club. The meeting, which emphasized the importance of knowledge and expertise exchange, aimed to bolster joint efforts in tackling contemporary security challenges.
During the meeting, Lt. Gen. Al Marri reaffirmed Dubai Police’s commitment to building strong international relations and partnerships. He emphasized the value of sharing knowledge, expertise, and best practices across various domains of security and law enforcement.

Exploring Dubai’s Smart Police Station (SPS)
The delegation also had the opportunity to visit the Smart Police Station (SPS) located at City Walk. This state-of-the-art facility offers an array of services to the public 24/7 in seven different languages. These services encompass 27 essential offerings, including crime and traffic incident reporting, as well as an additional 33 community-based services, ranging from obtaining good-conduct certificates to providing support for victims of family violence.
The visitors were briefed on the streamlined procedure for submitting criminal reports and efficiently communicating with multilingual officers via video calls. Additionally, they had the chance to explore a variety of vintage and modern police patrol vehicles, as well as the bicycles used by the Dubai Police.
