Dubai, UAE – A prominent Japanese investment firm, boasting over $500 billion in assets under management (AUM), is poised to take center stage at the upcoming SuperBridge Summit in Dubai. Scheduled for October 16-17, 2023, at the futuristic Museum of the Future, this groundbreaking event will bring together more than 500 investors, government officials, cultural leaders, and business magnates from 20 countries. Its aim is to expedite investment and partnership opportunities in emerging markets, some of which are often overlooked.

The SuperBridge Summit will foster collaborations among the world’s largest and fastest-growing economies, such as China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brazil, UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Nigeria. These economies are projected to contribute over 45 percent of the global GDP by 2050.

Distinguished speakers from various corners of the globe will be sharing their insights for the first time in the Middle East. Notable figures include Dr. Tuan Le Anh, Chief Investment Officer of Dragon Capital in Vietnam, and Takashi Maruyama, Chief Investment Officer of Asset Management One, Japan’s second-largest asset management fund with a staggering $500 billion in AUM.

Moreover, the SuperBridge Summit will spotlight the transformative role of AI foundation models in various industries, particularly in healthcare. Dr. Hongjiang Zhang, Advisor to the Beijing Academy of AI in China, will be part of a panel exploring the practical applications of AI in the real world. New research suggests that generative AI, akin to large-language models, could generate an astonishing $4.4 trillion in annual value, revolutionizing industries such as pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Zhang sees AI foundation models as the driving force behind a new wave of technological advancement, reshaping industries like finance, education, agriculture, and manufacturing. Their application extends to the development of macromolecular drugs, potentially transforming treatment plans for diseases like cancer.
