Dubai, UAE – In a heartwarming gesture aimed at acknowledging the valuable contributions of the public in enhancing the services provided by the Dubai Police, the Dubai Suburban Police Points recently honored their first customers in Al-Ayas, Al-Lisaili, and Hatta.
This special recognition took place during a public meeting organized by the Dubai Police General Command as part of their “Your Voice is Heard” initiative. The event was held at AL-Remal Castle Hall in Um Al Demen and was graced by the presence of key figures within the Dubai Police leadership, including Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, and Major General Ahmad Bin Ghalita, Director of the General Department of Forensic Sciences and Criminology.
Major General Al Mansouri extended a warm welcome to the audience, emphasizing that the “Your Voice is Heard” initiative is designed to gather opinions and suggestions from both locals and residents of Dubai regarding service quality. He stressed the Dubai Police’s commitment to valuing community feedback and their openness to engaging with the public at various times of the day.
Expressing gratitude for the attendees’ presence, Major General Al Mansouri commended their active participation in the discussion, underlining that these meetings reflect the Dubai Police’s eagerness to connect with a diverse array of community members.

Dr. Major General Adel Al-Suwaidi highlighted the Dubai Police’s broader role in collaborating with various government departments to improve the quality of life in Dubai. He emphasized that the “Your Voice is Heard” initiative aims to raise awareness among community members about the services provided by the Dubai Police and establish effective communication channels with all residents.

Hemaya International Centre’s Anti-Narcotics Efforts
Dr. Colonel Abdul Rahman Sharaf Al Maamari, Deputy Director of Hemaya International Centre at the General Department of Anti-Narcotics, shed light on the anti-narcotics program’s goals and awareness initiatives targeting students in schools and colleges. He also discussed various community activities organized by Hemaya.
The Policeman is your Neighbour – Building Safer Communities
Colonel Rashid Al Mae’eni, deputy director of the Crime Control Department of the General Department of Forensic Science and Criminology, introduced “The Policeman is your Neighbour” initiative. This program serves as a bridge of communication and cooperation between the Dubai Police and the community, with the goal of creating a safer society.
Colonel Al Mae’eni pointed out the positive impact of the initiative, especially after expanding its scope to include volunteering across different fields and specialties by military, civilian, resident, and local participants. This initiative has contributed to problem-solving and improved communication in numerous neighborhoods, ultimately fostering happiness, safety, and security among community members.
Suburban Police Points – Accessible Services Around the Clock
Major Saif Al Kaabi, Acting Director of the Suburban Police Points, highlighted the accessibility and 24/7 availability of services offered by these points. Leveraging smart technology, these services encompass traffic, social, and forensic services. Major Al Kaabi also explained the mechanism for reporting crimes without physical interaction, enabling direct video calls with officers proficient in multiple languages.
He further discussed the array of services offered by the police points and the role of the 901 call center in facilitating community engagement.
Promoting Safety, Security, and Communication
Lieutenant Mohamad Al Khazraji of the General Department of Community Happiness underscored the initiative’s objective of promoting safety, security, and communication among community members. The increasing participation throughout the year demonstrates Dubai Police’s pivotal role in uniting the community.

To ensure the confidentiality and convenience of reporting cybercrimes, members of the public can utilize the E-crime platform (www.ecrime.ae). This platform covers various cybercrimes, including cyber blackmail, hacking, unauthorized credit card usage, and cyber fraud.
