Dubai, UAE – The Green Planet, the Middle East’s only indoor tropical rainforest, has unveiled an innovative outdoor Nature Park. Families can now explore this nature sanctuary, featuring a treehouse adventure trail, skyline walks, nine viewing platforms, and slides suitable for children aged four to 12. Additionally, guests will encounter over 20 giant animatronic bugs, providing an educational experience before getting up close with the biodome’s resident insect species.
The Nature Park also showcases nine vibrant botanical gardens, each representing different parts of the world, offering visitors a captivating array of nature’s wonders.
Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment, stated, “The outdoor expansion of The Green Planet reinforces our commitment to connecting guests with the wonders of the natural world and promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. As the world prepares for COP28 in Dubai, awareness of biodiversity protection has never been more important.”
The Nature Park includes a soft play area for young children and an outdoor café offering a variety of refreshments for families. The expansion also introduces an active entertainment calendar for major events, as well as serving as an enriching environment for summer camps, school programs, and eco-educational-themed birthday parties.
To celebrate the launch, biologist talks and themed activities will be available from 10 to 15 October. Guests can enter the park with a Nature Park Day Pass starting at AED 69 per person or choose the Nature Park Annual Pass at AED 249 per person for year-round access. A standard Green Planet Day Pass, including access to both the indoor rainforest and the Nature Park, starts at AED 175 per person.
