Dubai, UAE – Dubai Police has organized a special pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina for sixty of its employees, as part of an initiative launched by the Islamic and Tolerance Affairs Department at the General Department of Community Happiness. The program aligns with the force’s mission of ensuring societal happiness and follows the guidance of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
Dr. Brigadier Ahmad Al Mansouri, Acting Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, led the farewell for the pilgrims, alongside other key officials. Al Mansouri expressed that the Umrah journey initiative aims to enhance the quality of life and happiness of Dubai Police employees as a reward for their dedicated efforts.
He emphasized the importance of upholding good moral values, following all laws, and representing Dubai Police with the utmost integrity during their journey in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al Mansouri extended his best wishes for the pilgrims, hoping for their successful and blessed journey.
The sponsored pilgrims expressed their gratitude, describing the experience as “overwhelming” and acknowledging the Dubai Police for alleviating the financial burden associated with this sacred journey.
