Dubai, UAE – During the GITEX Global Technology Week 2023, the Dubai Police unveiled their state-of-the-art “Luxurious Marine Patrol,” designed for rapid response to marine incidents and emergency rescue operations. Major General Khaled Nasser Al Razooqi, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Department at Dubai Police, highlighted that this initiative aligns with the directives of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, and showcases the latest innovations in ensuring security, safety, and swift incident response.
The Luxurious Marine Patrol, described by Brigadier Dr. Hassan Suhail Al Suwaidi, Director of the Ports Police Station, as one of the most advanced marine vehicles, significantly enhances rescue efforts with its swift response capabilities, playing a crucial role in saving lives.
Key specifications of the patrol include a top speed of 45 knots per hour, an automatic engine with four speeds and a capacity of 1800 cc. The patrol weighs 320 kilograms, with a maximum limit of 625 kilograms, and can accommodate two passengers.
This high-performance marine patrol will be deployed in water channels, lake areas, islands, and tourist destinations, ensuring round-the-clock readiness to address various marine incidents and emergencies. Dubai Police is set to present additional innovations, modern technologies, and services during the exhibition, all aimed at enhancing the role of Dubai Police in ensuring community happiness and security.
