Dubai, UAE – The Future Blockchain Summit 2023, a prominent blockchain exhibition, entered its second day at Dubai Harbour, uniting global experts in the blockchain, crypto, and Web3 ecosystem.
The Exchange Stage at the summit focused on “Digital Assets and Regulations” for day two. Sergej Kunz, the co-founder of 1inch network, delivered a presentation on “1inch’s Fusion Mode: a New Standard for Crypto Trading,” highlighting the benefits of Fusion mode in enabling efficient and secure crypto swaps by aggregating liquidity from the DeFi space. He also introduced the recently launched 1inch Developer Portal, a Web3 cloud SaaS platform for developers.
Gracy Chen, Managing Director of BitGet, discussed the global outlook in her session, emphasizing the unique characteristics of different regions and the Middle East’s growing influence in crypto and blockchain innovation. She noted that while the Middle East offers a favorable regulatory environment, there is a need to grow the user base and developer community.
Industry leaders, including Teana Baker-Taylor from Circle, HB Lim from BitGo, and Kristi Swartz from DLA Piper, participated in a panel discussing “Crypto regulations forum: Aligning regulations between TradFi with DeFi for global integration.” The panel stressed the importance of aligning regulations to facilitate partnerships and acknowledged the need for the crypto community to actively engage in regulatory discussions.
The Future Blockchain Summit, featuring over 150 exhibitors and attendees from more than 50 countries, aims to leverage Dubai’s position as a global Web3 hub. The event will continue until October 18, bringing together disrupters, innovators, and change-makers to showcase advancements in Web3, blockchain, and crypto technologies and explore opportunities and challenges in driving transformative change for the future.
