Dubai, UAE – Dubai will host the 27th edition of Beautyworld Middle East, the region’s largest international trade fair for the beauty and wellness industry, from October 30th to November 1st, 2023. This year, the event is set to address the growing demand for sustainable, eco-friendly, and ethical beauty products with the introduction of “Clean + Conscious,” a segment dedicated to brands committed to core values like clean ingredients, sustainability, ethical sourcing, social impact, inclusivity, and transparency.

Recent data indicates that the global clean beauty sector reached $8.3 billion in 2023 and is expected to double in size to $15.3 billion by 2028, reflecting the increasing consumer demand for environmentally friendly and sustainable beauty products.

Flyn Roberts, Portfolio Director at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the exhibition organizer, stated, “Natural, sustainable, and ethical beauty products have emerged as one of the primary growth drivers in the industry,” and that consumers are increasingly looking for brands that align with their values.

The Clean + Conscious segment at the event will feature a wide range of clean beauty products, sustainable packaging solutions, and opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations dedicated to positive change in the beauty industry. This movement is a response to today’s environmentally and socially conscious consumers.

Notable brands participating in Clean + Conscious for 2023 include Re Skincare, So Pure, Manifest Beauty, Maruderm, Urang, Marzia Clinic, and SKNFED.

In addition to the exhibition, Beautyworld Middle East Awards will include the Conscious Brand of the Year category, with SKNFED and the UAE’s Camel Soap Factory among the finalists. The winner will be announced on October 31st at the Grand Hyatt, Dubai.

The 2023 Beautyworld Middle East event is expected to feature over 1,700 exhibitors from around 60 countries, encompassing 15 halls and various sectors within the beauty industry. It promises an opportunity for attendees to expand their professional networks, discover new products, and tap into the business potential in this dynamic market.
