H.E. Al Olama emphasized the partnership’s potential to bring the brightest tech minds from the region to Europe and back to Dubai, creating a continuous momentum that started with GITEX AFRICA.
Senator Giffey highlighted the strong connection between Berlin and GITEX, both sharing the vision of connecting the global community of innovators and pioneering new technologies. Berlin’s vibrant start-up ecosystem and status as a tech hub make it a natural partner for the event.
The creation of GITEX EUROPE reflects the surge in international demand for GITEX’s expansion into new markets. It aims to accelerate the digital transformation of Europe’s economy, emphasizing talent development, innovation, and public-private partnership tech investments.
GITEX EUROPE 2025 arrives as Europe solidifies its position as a global tech superpower, with a projected need for 11 million new tech jobs by 2030. The continent is home to 514 unicorns and attracts 20 percent of global VC funding, positioning it for a golden age of tech ascendancy.

With a thriving start-up ecosystem, Berlin has been at the forefront of transformative tech shifts like AI, blockchain, and quantum computing. The city’s innovative policies and dynamic accelerators have made it a magnet for tech talent and entrepreneurs.
