GITEX GLOBAL Expands with GITEX EUROPE 2025 in Berlin

Dubai, UAE – GITEX GLOBAL, the world’s largest tech show, has unveiled plans for GITEX EUROPE 2025, an extension of its iconic event brand. The announcement came during the ongoing 43rd GITEX GLOBAL event in Dubai, which has drawn a remarkable international response with over 6,000 exhibitors and 180,000 attendees from 180 countries.

GITEX EUROPE 2025, organized by KAOUN International in partnership with Messe Berlin, will debut from 21st to 23rd May 2025. This marks the second overseas venture for the GITEX brand, following the highly successful GITEX AFRICA Morocco debut in 2023.

The official signing ceremony featured the presence of key figures, including His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, and Franziska Giffey, Vice Mayor of Berlin. H.E. Al Olama emphasized the partnership’s potential to bring the brightest tech minds from the region to Europe and back to Dubai, creating a continuous momentum that started with GITEX AFRICA.

Senator Giffey highlighted the strong connection between Berlin and GITEX, both sharing the vision of connecting the global community of innovators and pioneering new technologies. Berlin’s vibrant start-up ecosystem and status as a tech hub make it a natural partner for the event.

The creation of GITEX EUROPE reflects the surge in international demand for GITEX’s expansion into new markets. It aims to accelerate the digital transformation of Europe’s economy, emphasizing talent development, innovation, and public-private partnership tech investments.

GITEX EUROPE 2025 arrives as Europe solidifies its position as a global tech superpower, with a projected need for 11 million new tech jobs by 2030. The continent is home to 514 unicorns and attracts 20 percent of global VC funding, positioning it for a golden age of tech ascendancy.

Berlin, the epicenter of European innovation, has emerged as a global tech hub.
