Dubai, UAE – The Organization of the Islamic Cooperation-Computer Emergency Response Team (OIC-CERT) Cloud Security Working Group introduced the OIC-CERT Cloud Security Framework, a landmark initiative co-chaired by the UAE Cybersecurity Council and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. This momentous occasion, occurring at the GISEC CISO Circle during GITEX GLOBAL 2023, was graced by the official launch by Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity, United Arab Emirates Government, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hafez, Vice President of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.

This revolutionary framework aims to reshape cloud security governance and compliance for OIC member states. It is a product of a collaborative effort, offering a unified approach to tackle the critical issues of risk assessment, management, and technical challenges in cloud computing.
