Dubai, UAE – Dubai Parks™ and Resorts, the Middle East’s largest theme park destination, is gearing up for the second edition of its Duathlon series, set to kick off on Saturday, 21 October 2023. The inaugural race in a series of four promises an exhilarating experience for fitness enthusiasts.
The first edition, launched in October 2022, witnessed over 250 participants of varying fitness levels, spanning ages from eight to over 50. Organized by Race ME and Dubai Sports Council, this event is a prelude to the much-anticipated Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) and welcomes all UAE residents.
The Duathlon series offers diverse categories, including Super Sprint, Sprint Distance, Standard Distance, and Teams, each tailored to different running and biking distances to accommodate various fitness levels. Registration starts at AED 175, and the event is open to participants aged eight and above.
Participants will embark on a scenic journey through Dubai Parks™ and Resorts, commencing at RIVERLAND™ Dubai from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM, with stunning views and landmarks along the route, including The French Village, Boardwalk, India Gate, and The Peninsula.
The event will conclude with a prize-giving ceremony at Chickadees restaurant within RIVERLAND™ Dubai, where all participants will receive a finisher’s medal and a limited-edition t-shirt. For those seeking post-race nourishment, a rewarding breakfast is available at Chickadees. Additionally, race participants will enjoy complimentary parking access within Dubai Parks™ and Resorts.
