Aayal QureshiDubai, UAE – In a historic contract signing ceremony today, Bangla Tigers franchisee and T10 Global solidified a momentous partnership in the world of T10 cricket. The agreement paves the way for a new era in Bangladeshi cricket, uniting fans in their passion for the sport.
Under the newly inked contract, Bangla Tigers will participate in the Lanka T10 League as “Bangla Tigers Hambantota” and the Zim Afro T10 League as “Bangla Tigers Joburg.” Simultaneously, they will continue their involvement in the ADT10 League, organized by T10 Global, for the next decade.
The first edition of the Lanka T10 League is scheduled to commence on December 12, concluding on December 23, 2023, while the second season of the Zim Afro T10 League is tentatively set for March 2024.
Esteemed dignitaries, including Shaji Ul Mulk, Chairman, and Rajeev Khanna, CEO of T10 Global, along with Mohammad Yasin Chowdhury, Owner and CEO of Bangla Tigers, attended this landmark event held in Dubai.
Shaji Ul Mulk, Chairman of T10 Global, extended his congratulations to Bangla Tigers and praised their efforts to promote cricket, emphasizing, “We are delighted to have Bangla Tigers on board for the next 10 years. Notably, Bangla Tigers have been participating in the Abu Dhabi T10 League since Season 3. Their roster for the upcoming season, commencing on November 28, includes renowned players such as Robin Uthappa, Mohammad Amir, and S Sreesanth.
