Dubai, UAE – On Sunday, November 5th, the 10th edition of the Dubai Women’s Run will take place at Dubai Festival City. Organized by Plan b Group in collaboration with the UAE Athletic Federation and Dubai Sports Council, this event is set to be the largest female sports gathering of the year, aimed at promoting female empowerment and encouraging women of all backgrounds to lead healthier lives.
The day promises a variety of engaging activities for the entire family, including face painting, balloon bending, stilt walkers, jugglers, Dhol players, hip hop dancing, and African drummers. The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, emphasizing its significance in the local sports community.

- 10km Category: First place wins AED 5000, second place AED 3000, and third place AED 2000.
- 5km Category: First place wins AED 3000, second place AED 2000, and third place AED 1000.
- Emirati Athletes Category: First place wins AED 1500, second place AED 1000, and third place AED 500.
The Dubai Women’s Run is expected to draw over 3000 participants from diverse backgrounds, including elite international athletes and girls from Dhaka slums participating for the first time. The event also features a special brigade of women running in sarees, adding a unique and colorful touch to the race.
Sustainability and Environmental Initiatives:
This year’s event continues its commitment to sustainability with MonViso as the hydration partner. MonViso will collect empty plastic and glass bottles for recycling, with plastic being transformed into T-shirts with either 100% or 50% recycled fiber, and glass bottles recycled into glass cullet for use by glass manufacturers.
