Dubai Police Join the Nation in Marking the UAE Flag Day

In a patriotic and symbolic celebration, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, along with various officials, officers, and employees of Dubai Police, observed the Flag Day festivities at the Dubai Police General Headquarters. The ceremony began with Lt. Gen. Al Marri leading the procession to the main flagpole and proudly hoisting the UAE flag. A salute followed from senior officers and police members while the Dubai Police band played the national anthem.

The event featured participation from several general departments, police stations, and various groups, including the mounted police unit, students from the Dubai Police Academy, and students from Hemaya schools, along with the luxury patrol units. The ‘Positive Spirit’ initiative of Dubai Police also hosted an art gallery showcasing beautiful paintings created by talented students, celebrating the UAE Flag Day.

During the occasion, Lt. Gen. Al Marri highlighted the deep significance of the UAE flag, symbolizing loyalty to wise leadership and the beloved homeland, preserving national achievements, and fostering the spirit of unity between the people and leadership. He stressed that November 3rd is a day to express love for the nation, respect for the flag, and a commitment to sacrifice for its continuous pride and glory. It also reaffirms the UAE’s stature as a leading nation.

Furthermore, Lt. Gen. Al Marri underlined that Flag Day is an annual opportunity to renew allegiance to the wise leadership and remember the UAE’s history of generosity, nation-building, and sustainable development, which has propelled it to the ranks of advanced countries in various fields and sectors.
