Dubai, UAE – In a proactive step towards achieving excellence and leadership, Dubai Police initiated a “Strategic Focus Group Workshop for Excellence and Pioneering Sector” under the guidance of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. The workshop was inaugurated by Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidli, Assistant Commandant for Excellence and Pioneering Affairs.
The primary objective of this initiative is to stimulate the generation of ideas, innovations, and forward-thinking visions to bolster the forthcoming strategic plan update for Dubai Police spanning from 2024 to 2033.
Major General Al Obaidli underscored the commitment of Dubai Police to conducting strategic focus group sessions, effectively launching a comprehensive revision of the strategic plan. The workshop’s purpose is to address the chief challenges encountered in the realm of policing and find tailored solutions through specialized focus groups dedicated to the Community Happiness and Logistic Support Sector.
During his address to the participants, which included directors-general, their deputies, council presidents, and Mona Al Amiri, Director of the Esaad Card Centre, Major General Al Obaidli commended their vital contributions in deliberating and formulating ideas to facilitate the strategic plan’s update.
He emphasized that this workshop seeks to confront the foundational challenges in policing work, formulate innovative and suitable solutions, and explore emerging trends that align with Dubai Police’s vision of achieving excellence and leadership on both the local and global stage.
Following the keynote address, the directors-general, their deputies, and council presidents were provided with a comprehensive understanding of the workshop’s objectives and the methodologies employed to generate forward-thinking ideas. These discussions will play a pivotal role in enhancing the strategic plan for Dubai Police spanning the years 2024 to 2033, with a sharp focus on envisioning future horizons and actionable recommendations to reinforce the strategy.
