IBM Consulting will serve as the lead systems integrator, working closely with Riyadh Air to create a robust technology foundation that promises exceptional and seamless travel experiences. The collaboration involves implementing over 50 airline industry solutions and core technology capabilities, employing a hybrid cloud approach. IBM will also oversee the work of more than 40 partners, providing program and technical governance, project management, and quality assurance.
Riyadh Air’s goal is to position itself as a leader in the aviation sector, offering innovative digital solutions and unparalleled traveler experiences. The airline aims to deliver personalized and seamless journeys with the help of AI and advanced digital technology, while also empowering its employees with data-driven insights to enhance guest services. Their ambition is to launch their first flight in 2025, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to transform the country into a global aviation and trade hub.
