Dubai, UAE – Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s groundbreaking airline owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), revealed its second permanent dual-livery design at the Dubai Airshow 2023. Scheduled to commence operations in 2025, Riyadh Air showcased an indigo-themed livery inspired by traditional Bedouin tents and Arabic calligraphy.

This sophisticated design, featuring sweeping cockpit windows and an iridescent fuselage, reflects Saudi Arabia’s forward-thinking vision. The lavender and indigo paint, adorned with a feather-like design, ‘Riyadh Air’ in English and Arabic, and the airline’s logo, creates a modern and instantly recognizable appearance.

Launched in March 2023 by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Riyadh Air aims to be the world’s most forward-thinking carrier, prioritizing sustainability, reliability, and hospitality. With plans to fly to over 100 destinations, contribute to a $20 billion growth in non-oil GDP, and create 200,000 jobs globally and locally, Riyadh Air is a key player in Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification under Vision 2030.

As the largest start-up in commercial aviation in decades, Riyadh Air aims to set new standards by being one of the first international carriers with permanent dual-liveries on an active fleet.

Riyadh Air’s presence at the Dubai Airshow also includes a 350sqm pavilion showcasing the airline’s ambitions and future plans. Notable partnerships, including a Memorandum of Understanding with Lucid Motors for sustainable transportation and an immersive football experience with Atlético de Madrid, further emphasize Riyadh Air’s commitment to innovation.

The airline’s collaboration with the Saudi Coffee Company highlights its dedication to sustainability, showcasing coffee from the Jazan region. The Dubai Airshow, hosting over 1400 exhibitors from 48 countries, provides Riyadh Air with a platform to position Saudi Arabia as a world-class logistics and travel hub.

In addition to the aviation highlights, Riyadh Air’s pavilion features two Lucid Air cars wrapped in the distinctive Riyadh Air livery and offers visitors transportation in three mobilized Lucid Air cars during the event. The Dubai Airshow 2023, taking place from 13-17 November at Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport, continues to attract global attention with over 180 advanced aircraft on display.
