Dubai, UAE – Dubai Police, in collaboration with the University and College Student Council and the Government Initiatives Councils, organized the “Tolerance Forum” at the Dubai Officers Club in Al Jaddaf. The forum, inaugurated by Brigadier Mohammad Atiq Thani and Mr Mohammad Al Mur, aimed to educate students about tolerance, values, and morals, emphasizing their roots in the religion of Islam.

Brigadier Thani highlighted that the forum is part of Dubai Police’s “Tolerance Carnival” program, aligning with the International Day of Tolerance on November 16th. He stressed that promoting these values contributes to the UAE’s global reputation as a diverse and harmonious society, where over 200 nationalities coexist peacefully.

Mr Al Mur underscored the forum’s goal of fostering tolerance values across the community, with a focus on engaging students of various nationalities to raise awareness about the UAE’s commitment to instilling noble values. He attributed the solid foundation of tolerance in the UAE to the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, making the country an attractive global destination for study and residence.

Additionally, introductory workshops covered topics such as the World Police Summit, the e-crime platform, Dubai Tourist Police services, and the Dubai 30X30 fitness challenge.

The initiative aligns with the UAE’s dedication to fostering a society built on the principles of tolerance, unity, security, and safety.
