Dubai, UAE – Brigadier Khaled Ali bin Mowaiza, Deputy Director of the General Department for Anti-Narcotics at Dubai Police, welcomed a delegation from the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) at the Dubai Police General HQ. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise in combating organized international crime, apprehending perpetrators, and conducting advanced rehabilitation courses for personnel in drug combat.
Brigadier bin Mowaiza highlighted the success of joint international operations involving the UAE, resulting in the dismantling of major drug trafficking networks. The INCB presented an overview of its objectives and achievements, introducing the “Global Rapid Interception Program for Hazardous Substances” and its “IONICS” platform.
The visiting delegation praised Dubai Police for its advanced work system, including AI technologies, and commended their success in thwarting international smuggling operations. The delegation visited the Drug Monitoring Center and the Erada Center for Treatment and Rehab, gaining insights into their objectives, programs, and achievements.
