Dubai, UAE – In a historic move, Red Bull F1 Teams and Visa have announced an unprecedented multi-year partnership, marking Visa’s first major global sports sponsorship in over 15 years. The collaboration includes Visa becoming the first global partner for both Red Bull F1 teams, introducing the Visa Cash App RB, formerly Scuderia AlphaTauri.
As part of the agreement, Visa’s logo will adorn the Oracle Red Bull Racing and Visa Cash App RB cars, along with corresponding title partnership on the F1 Academy team entry. The Visa Cash App RB team, led by drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo, will showcase a new car livery and driver’s kit inspired by Visa and Cash App when the F1 2024 racing series begins in Bahrain on February 29. The full livery reveal is scheduled for a special event in Las Vegas on February 8.
Beyond branding, the collaboration aims to propel the team to excellence and provide Visa cardholders with exclusive opportunities, including behind-the-scenes access, driver meet and greets, merchandise, and elevated hospitality at races.
Visa’s commitment to women’s empowerment extends to the F1 Academy series, where the Visa Cash App RB team will participate. This all-female driving series, taking place at select F1 tracks concurrently with F1 races, aligns with Visa’s dedication to championing equality in motorsports.
