Antigua and Barbuda Debuts in UAE SWAT Challenge

Dubai, UAE – The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda will participate in the UAE SWAT Challenge, a prestigious international competition hosted by Dubai Police, for the first time this year. The event will take place from February 3 to 7 at the Training City in Al Ruwayyah.

The team leader, Senior Sergeant of Police Greg Valerie, said that they have been preparing rigorously for the challenge, which involves five demanding events that test the skills and teamwork of the elite SWAT units. He expressed his excitement to join the global platform and learn from the best practices of other countries.

The UAE SWAT Challenge, now in its fifth edition, aims to enhance the standards and capabilities of the security forces, as well as to foster cooperation and knowledge exchange among the participants. More than 50 teams from around the world are expected to compete in the challenge this year.
