HLB HAMT Launches $100,000 Scholarship for Underprivileged Workers’ Children in UAE

Dubai, UAE – HLB HAMT, a prominent UAE-based auditing, consulting, and tax advisory firm, celebrated its 25th anniversary by launching the HLB SEED (Seek, Educate, Empower & Development) project. Valued at USD 100,000, this groundbreaking scholarship initiative aims to cover the professional accountancy education expenses for students from underprivileged backgrounds in the UAE, particularly those with working-class parents.

The launch event was attended by distinguished figures including HH Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan and HE Younis Haji Al Khoori, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Finance. Marco Donzelli, CEO of HLB International, officially introduced the initiative, emphasizing the firm’s commitment to creating positive societal impact.

The HLB SEED project focuses on supporting students pursuing professional qualifications in accounting and finance, such as ACA and ACCA certifications. Marco highlighted the initiative as an investment in both individuals’ futures and the growth of a new generation of skilled accountants globally.

Hisham Ali Mohamed Al–Taher, Chairman & Partner, emphasized the transformative potential of education, stating that the project goes beyond financial aid, providing opportunities for talented students and unlocking gateways to a future filled with possibilities.
