UAE Women’s Tour 2024 Security Committee Ready for Safe Experience

Dubai, UAE – The Security Committee for the UAE Women’s Tour 2024, comprising Dubai Police, Dubai Sports Council, Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and various relevant bodies, has announced its preparedness to secure the upcoming event. Through meticulous planning and coordination, the committee has developed a comprehensive security plan aimed at ensuring seamless traffic flow and participant safety along the race route.

Utilizing both human and technical resources, the committee has conducted field surveys, selected appropriate routes, and coordinated road closures and openings efficiently. Priority has been given to managing cyclist traffic on the emirate’s roads, with a focus on enhancing the comfort of participants and maintaining an efficient flow of vehicles.

The UAE Women’s Tour 2024 is scheduled to run from 8th to 11th February, featuring elite female cyclists from around the world. The first stage of the race spans 122 kilometers, starting from Dubai Miracle Garden in Al Barsha and concluding at Dubai Harbor.

Dubai Police urges road users to adhere to traffic systems, instructions, guidelines, and rules during the event. It emphasizes the importance of caution, reduced speeds, utilization of alternative routes, and staying informed about race stages through Dubai Police’s social media platforms.

Efforts are underway, in collaboration with relevant institutions, to ensure a secure and smoothly conducted event.
