Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Tourist Police Department, in collaboration with various governmental entities and internal partners, recently organized a workshop at the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah. The event aimed to educate 90 employees of the hotel about smart police services, security procedures, and public safety measures.
Led by Brigadier Khalfan Al Jallaf, Director of the Dubai Tourist Police Department, the workshop underscored the importance of promoting security awareness in hospitality establishments, given Dubai’s status as a premier global tourist destination.
Participants received insights from the General Directorate of Civil Defense on fire prevention and incident response, while the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services provided crucial training on first-aid procedures and emergency management.
Various Dubai Police departments, including those for anti-narcotics, electronic investigations, lost and found, criminal and administrative investigations, and the call center, also contributed to the workshop.
Key topics covered included the services offered by Smart Police Stations (SPS), drug-related risks, the Lost & Found system in Dubai hotels, cybercrime awareness, and procedures for contacting police during emergencies.
The workshop aimed to enhance the engagement between law enforcement agencies and the hospitality sector, ensuring the safety and well-being of Dubai’s visitors and residents alike.
