Abu Dhabi, UAE – In an effort to promote a more supportive environment for working parents, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has emphasized the importance of organizations accommodating the needs of families. Tappy Toes Nursery, an early childhood education provider, has been recognized for its exemplary efforts in this regard, receiving the prestigious Parent-Friendly Plus Label.

The award ceremony, held in Abu Dhabi and attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Office of Development and Martyrs Families Affairs and Chairman of the ECA. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlighted the nursery’s commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace for working parents. The Parent-Friendly Label program, initiated by the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA), aims to encourage companies throughout the UAE to adopt policies that facilitate a balance between family and work responsibilities.

Tappy Toes Nursery stands out for its progressive policies, including extended maternity leave, paid leave for miscarriage, paternity leave, flexible work hours, and well-being programs. The nursery also provides a dedicated maternity room to support nursing mothers in the workplace.

Foram Gohel, Managing Director of Tappy Toes Nursery, expressed gratitude for the recognition, affirming the nursery’s dedication to supporting working parents and ensuring the best care and education for the children under their care.
