Dubai, UAE – The Event Security Committee (ESC) in Dubai, led by Major General Rashid Khalifa Al Falasi, Acting Director of the General Department for Organisation Protective Security and Emergency, conducted an inspection of the stadium specifically constructed for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2024.
Situated in the vibrant Dubai Design District (d3), the stadium is gearing up to welcome 16 of the world’s top national teams for an 11-day tournament scheduled from February 15 to 25.
Accompanied by high-ranking officials including Brigadier Mesbah Al Ghafli and Brigadier Nabil Abdullah Al Redha, Al Falasi meticulously reviewed the security measures implemented for the 12th edition of this prestigious event. Stressing the significance of meticulous preparation and collaborative efforts, Al Falasi underscored Dubai’s esteemed reputation in hosting, organizing, and safeguarding major global events.
The draw held in October has laid the groundwork for a fiercely contested tournament, with four groups comprising four teams each in the initial round, culminating in quarterfinals, semifinals, and the ultimate showdown in the final match.
Dubai stands poised to deliver yet another exceptional sporting spectacle, reflecting its commitment to excellence in event management and security on the international stage.
