Dubai International Boat Show 2024 to converge the world’s leisure yachting industry for landmark 30th edition

Dubai, UAE – The Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS), renowned as the Middle East’s premier marine and lifestyle event, is gearing up for its 30th edition set to take place at Dubai Harbour from 28 February – 3 March 2024. This hallmark event will showcase over 1,000 brands and 200+ boats from esteemed shipyards worldwide, including major names like Azimut, Sunseeker Gulf, and Gulf Craft.

With an impressive lineup of 46 boat launches scheduled, DIBS continues its tradition of providing a pivotal platform for industry players, attracting both local manufacturers and global distributors. Notably, IMG Boats, Riviera Boats, and Al Fajer are among those slated for multiple global launches, while regional premieres are anticipated from SF Yachts and Williams Tender, among others.

His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, emphasized the show’s enduring significance in uniting the global maritime industry and showcasing Dubai as a hub for yachting tourism.

This year’s edition underscores Dubai’s growing prominence in the luxury yacht market, with the Middle East currently home to a significant portion of the world’s superyacht fleet. The event is expected to accelerate sales in the regional and international yachting industry, particularly with Dubai’s High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) population on the rise.

The 30th DIBS will feature exhibitors from over 55 countries, including debut appearances from Austria, Finland, Sweden, and the Republic of Korea. Notably, nine members of the Superyacht Builders Association will be present, highlighting DIBS’s commitment to showcasing leading shipyards globally.

In addition to serving as a launchpad for luxurious yachts, the event will spotlight sustainability initiatives, including the groundbreaking Dubai Reef project. The Dubai Boat Show Leisure Yachting Conference will precede the main event, bringing together industry leaders to discuss innovation, regulation, and sustainability in the maritime sector.

Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President of Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), expressed excitement for the transformative 30th edition, emphasizing its role in advancing collaboration and innovation within the regional maritime industry.
