Dubai, UAE – The eagerly anticipated Big Bad Wolf Book Sale, in collaboration with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (DCAA), is set to captivate book lovers from March 1 to March 10, 2024. Hosted at Sound Stages, Dubai Studio City, the sale boasts free admission and discounts of up to 75%, promising a literary paradise with over two million titles across various genres available from 10 am to 12 midnight daily.
Highlighting Dubai’s bustling business landscape, this year’s sale features an extensive collection of business books tailored to professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs. The launch, held at Al Safa Design and Art Library, saw a vibrant press conference attended by media, partners, and esteemed guests.
Andrew Yap, Co-Founder of Big Bad Wolf Books, expressed gratitude to local officials, partners, and the media for their support, emphasizing the transformative power of books. Mohamed Noor Hersi, Board Member of BBW Sharjah, welcomed attendees, stressing the commitment to literacy and youth empowerment in partnership with DCAA and Sharjah Book Authority.
Eiman Al Hammadi, Acting Manager of the Libraries Affairs Section at Dubai Culture, reaffirmed the Authority’s dedication to fostering a reading culture in line with national literacy goals and the National Plan for Reading.
The event concluded with a surprise announcement, offering each member of the media the chance to select two books of their choice, adding excitement to the gathering.
