Dubai Police Promote Security Awareness at Grosvenor House Hotel

Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Tourist Police Department, in collaboration with several partners, organized a security awareness workshop for 270 employees of Grosvenor House Hotel on Sunday.

The workshop aimed to educate the hotel staff about the smart police services, security procedures, and public safety measures offered by Dubai Police and other authorities.

Brigadier Khalfan Al Jallaf, Director of the Dubai Tourist Police Department, stressed the importance of enhancing security awareness in the hospitality sector, as part of Dubai Police’s strategic vision of ensuring community well-being and safety.

The workshop included lectures and sessions by various departments, such as the General Directorate of Dubai Civil Defense, the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, the General Department of Anti-Narcotics, the Electronic Investigations Department, the Lost and Found Department, the Criminal and Administrative Investigations Department, and the Call Center 901.

The participants learned about the fire prevention and response, first-aid procedures, emergency management, drug risks, lost and found system, cybercrime prevention and reporting, and communication channels with the police.

The workshop also highlighted the features and benefits of the Smart Police Stations (SPS), which provide round-the-clock assistance to the public without human intervention.

At the end of the workshop, Lieutenant Colonel Musa Mubarak, Head of the Tourist Security Patrols Section, thanked and honored the lecturers, partners, and attendees for their cooperation and contribution to the success of the awareness initiative.
