Pakistan’s Ambassador Inaugurates Pakistan Pavilion at Gulf Food

Dubai, UAE – Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Envoy to the UAE, marked the commencement of the Gulf Food Exhibition by inaugurating the Pakistan Pavilion at Zaa’beel Hall 6, World Trade Centre Dubai. The prestigious event, spanning five days, commenced today with an enthusiastic participation from exhibitors across the globe.

Expressing pride in the presence of Pakistani exhibitors at the region’s largest food exhibition, Ambassador Tirmizi highlighted the significant increase in exports of Pakistani food products to the region, noting a remarkable 40% surge within a year. Particularly, rice and meat exports were noted to have seen substantial growth.

The Ambassador underscored the noteworthy entrance of Pakistani dairy products into the UAE and other Gulf countries, attributing this success to Pakistan’s position as one of the world’s leading milk producers. He applauded the participation of numerous dairy product exporters from Pakistan at the Gulf Food Exhibition.

Emphasizing the importance of leveraging Pakistan’s vast natural potential, Ambassador Tirmizi reiterated the need for increased exports as a pathway to economic prosperity. He commended the efforts of farmers, agro-based industrialists, and businessmen, urging them to explore untapped markets for further expansion.

The Gulf Food Exhibition, hosting participants from over 100 countries, witnessed a robust presence of Pakistani exhibitors showcasing a diverse range of products including rice, dairy products, spices, herbals, and beverages.

Accompanied by Hussain Muhammad, Consul General at Pakistan Consulate Dubai, and Adeem Khan, Commercial Counsellor, Ambassador Tirmizi visited various stalls set up by the Trade Development Authority Pakistan, affirming his support and assistance to participants in achieving the common objective of boosting exports to the region.

In conclusion, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi congratulated the organizers of the Pakistan Pavilion and encouraged Pakistani exporters to intensify their participation in future exhibitions and export promotion activities. He reiterated the embassy’s commitment to providing full support to facilitate increased exports to the region.
