Dubai, UAE – Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has announced an extensive series of finance events and activities spanning 20 days to celebrate its 20th Anniversary. Scheduled from April 29th to May 29th, participants can engage in a diverse range of events including seminars, workshops, networking sessions, and special celebrations.
The calendar of activities will commence with the Dubai World Insurance Congress on April 29th-30th at Atlantis, The Palm. Following this, the 2nd edition of the Dubai FinTech Summit will take place on May 6th-7th at the Madinat Jumeirah, with an expected attendance of over 8,000 decision-makers, 300 thought leaders, and 200 exhibitors.
Additionally, the inaugural HFM Summit, focusing on the hedge fund sector in partnership with With Intelligence, will be held on May 15th at The Conference Centre, DIFC. The Institute of International Finance (IIF) will also be part of the celebrations with the IIF MENA CRO Forum on May 21st, commemorating their 10th Anniversary in the Centre.
Arif Amiri, Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Authority, emphasized the Centre’s role in driving economic growth and innovation in the region. The 20 Days of Finance align with DIFC’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the financial sector, driving the future of finance through digital transformation.
The Dubai FinTech Summit 2024, organized by DIFC, is expected to gather prominent figures such as Yie-Hsin Hung, President and CEO of State Street Global Advisors; Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple; and Michael Gronager, CEO of Chainalysis, to showcase cutting-edge technologies and discuss industry trends.
The series of events underscore DIFC’s pivotal role as a global financial hub and its dedication to fostering collaboration and innovation within the financial ecosystem, positioning Dubai as a leading destination for finance professionals worldwide.
