Dubai, UAE – The Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai and Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) have entered into a collaborative agreement aimed at enhancing the integration of UAE Nationals into the workforce and bolstering strategic sectors of the nation’s economy.

This partnership will see the Emirati Human Resources Development Council providing EGA with qualified Emirati candidates for training programs and vacant positions within the industrial sector. The agreement underscores a joint commitment to advancing Emiratisation efforts, with EGA already boasting one of the highest Emiratisation rates among major companies.

H.E. Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Emirati Human Resources Development Council, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, emphasizing its role in nurturing Emirati talent and supporting the nation’s economic growth trajectory.

Abdulnasser Bin Kalban, CEO of Emirates Global Aluminium, expressed determination to further increase Emiratisation within EGA, outlining plans to hire up to 500 UAE Nationals over the next three years.

Under the agreement, efforts will be made to raise awareness among students about career opportunities in the industry, with a focus on recruitment and early career training initiatives.

The Emirati Human Resources Development Council, established by decree under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, serves as a pivotal entity in coordinating Emirati human resources development efforts in the private sector.

EGA’s collaboration with governmental bodies, including the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, underscores a concerted effort to support the recruitment and training of young Emirati talent, ensuring alignment with the evolving demands of the job market.
