ENGIE Launches Venture Studio for Climate Tech Startups in the Middle East

Dubai, UAE – ENGIE Factory, a pioneer in fostering startups that drive the energy transition and accelerate decarbonization efforts, has set its sights on spearheading innovation in the Middle East. With a commitment to collaborating with entrepreneurs, the company aims to develop novel business models and support fundable startups in the region.

Caroline Guyot, Managing Director of ENGIE Factory, highlighted the company’s approach of building startups from inception in partnership with founders. Leveraging the group’s expertise, funding, and market access, they accelerate the development of solutions aimed at addressing pressing climate challenges.

Since its inception in Singapore in 2019, ENGIE Factory has successfully incubated over 14 startups dedicated to tackling various climate issues. These startups focus on decarbonizing challenging industries, innovating business models to promote renewable energy distribution, and creating intelligent software to facilitate the energy transition.

Guyot emphasized the importance of collaboration with investors, governments, and corporates in their unique model for corporate venture building, emphasizing the critical role of partnerships in driving success in the Middle East.
