EA SPORTS™ Announces the Inaugural EA SPORTS FC™ Ramadan Tournament

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – EA SPORTS™, in collaboration with Zawaya Gaming, has announced the launch of the inaugural EA SPORTS FC™ Ramadan tournament. The event, which is set to engage players and fans across the MENA region, is powered by Pepsi and supported by the Saudi eSports Federation.

The tournament will feature two parallel knockout competitions: one for EA SPORTS FC™ 24 on PlayStation 5, and the other for EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile. A total of 16 players will qualify for the finals, where they will be paired with athletes and creators for a 2v2 tournament in both EA SPORTS FC™ 24 and EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile.

This announcement comes after Pepsico and EA SPORTS FC™ declared a multi-year global partnership last July, making Pepsi and Gatorade proud partners of the top-selling football simulation title. The collaboration continues to deliver gaming experiences that create moments of joy for modern football fans.

The console tournament will be open to participants from Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, while mobile participants will include competitors from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, and Indonesia.

The EA SPORTS FC™ Ramadan tournament is not just a competition, but a festive celebration of the Holy month of Ramadan. It aims to unite players and fans through an exciting campaign and event. Qualified winners will receive exclusive invitations to attend the finals, where they will team up with renowned athletes and FC content creators in a battle to be crowned the champions of the first EA SPORTS FC™ Ramadan Tournament.

The event promises an immersive experience with a plethora of content from experienced players, content creators, tailored entertaining shows, fan experiences, and much more. Fans attending the finals will have the opportunity to win exclusive merchandise, participate in showcase matches, meet their favourite stars, and watch the live finals at the ultimate EA SPORTS FC™ 24 fan experience this Ramadan.

In celebration of this event, Pepsi & EA Sports FC™ have collaborated to create a major prize. The winner of each EA SPORTS FC™ 24 and EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile tournaments will win a pair of tickets to the UEFA Champions League Final 2024 at Wembley Stadium in London, taking place on 1st June 2024. The prize includes travel, accommodation for 2 nights, and £250 spending money.
