Dubai, UAE – A leading provider of hygienic products in the MENA region, Fine Hygienic Holding (FHH), has received a Sustainability Certificate from CHEP, a global leader in supply chain solutions. The certificate recognises the remarkable environmental results achieved by the long-standing partnership between the two companies.
FHH and CHEP have been working together to promote a greener future by reducing their environmental impact and adopting sustainable practices. Over the past year, FHH has saved over 119,000 dm3 of wood resources, eliminated over 722,000 kgs of carbon dioxide emissions, and decreased over 52,000 kgs of waste by using CHEP’s pooled pallets instead of white wood pallets.
The partnership also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined by the United Nations, which FHH has set as its ambitious sustainability targets. Emran Al Hadid, Supply Chain Manager UAE and LG at FHH, said that collaborating with CHEP was essential to driving meaningful change in their industry. He added that they were excited to work with a sustainability-focused company that could actively support them in achieving their environmental objectives.
Angus Robertson, Country General Manager CHEP Middle East, expressed his pride in being a long-standing partner to FHH and contributing to their impressive results. He said that they believed in the power of collaboration and leveraging their expertise to drive sustainability across supply chains. He also said that their partnership with FHH set an example for the entire industry.
Through this collaboration, FHH and CHEP have shown that sustainability and business growth can go hand in hand. By placing a priority on environmental stewardship, FHH not only meets its commitment to future generations but also demonstrates a responsibility that others in the industry can learn from and be inspired by.
