Dubai, UAE – Bruno Hivon, who has dedicated the past 12 months to serving as the pre-opening hotel General Manager, has delivered exceptional results. Under his leadership, a diverse and skilled team has been cultivated, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity, gender representation, and support for People of Determination and Emiratis.

In terms of community engagement, Hivon and his team have forged close partnerships with Mawaheb, an art studio for People of Determination. Together, they have orchestrated impactful giveaways and events, fostering meaningful connections and raising awareness within the community. Furthermore, Bruno’s commitment extends to hosting two upcoming community events, spotlighting local talent and artists, while dedicating lobby space to showcase artwork by Mawaheb’s students.

Hivon’s stewardship also encompasses numerous sustainability initiatives, including the establishment of a water bottle plant, an in-house herb garden, composting tools, and hydroponic gardening, alongside the implementation of solar panels for water heating. Additionally, he is steadfast in his goal to significantly reduce paper usage by targeting a 95 percent reduction within the hotel, coupled with a transition to recycled paper for all in-house operations.

In his inaugural year as pre-opening hotel GM, Bruno Hivon has showcased unwavering dedication to his team, sustainability efforts, and community engagement. Through his leadership, the hotel is poised for a successful launch, destined to become a cherished destination for both international travelers and local patrons alike.
