Abu Dhabi, UAE – This Earth Day, Ethara, the company managing Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, is highlighting its ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability and reduce its ecological footprint.
Over the past year, Ethara has implemented several initiatives aimed at reducing waste generation through recycling and composting food waste. The company has also invested in advanced technologies to improve energy efficiency and explored renewable energy options.
Water conservation has been another key focus area, with optimized water usage and installation of water-efficient fixtures throughout the Yas Marina Circuit venue.

Ethara’s commitment to environmental management has earned it prestigious certifications, including ISO 14001 for environmental management at Yas Marina Circuit and ISO 20121 for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Additionally, the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) has recertified Ethara for the highest level of environmental management of racing circuits.
