News DeskDUBAI, UAE – The Dubai World Trade Centre Cluster announced the appointment of Anirudh Chaturvedi as the new Cluster Director of Finance at Novotel World Trade Centre, Ibis World Trade Centre, and Ibis One Central on April 23, 2024.
Chaturvedi, a seasoned finance professional with over 13 years of industry experience, has been serving the Middle East region, specifically UAE and Qatar, for the past six years. He is expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this prestigious role.
Anoop Dhondoo, the Regional General Manager of Dubai Central, expressed his delight at Chaturvedi’s appointment. He praised Chaturvedi’s vast experience in P&L management, budgeting, forecast development and analysis, and staff development. Dhondoo looks forward to working closely with Chaturvedi to realize the full potential of the iconic landmark hotel group.
Chaturvedi, a native of India, previously held the position of Cluster Financial Controller at the iconic project by Katara Hospitality – Fairmont & Raffles Hotels in Doha, Qatar. He has been instrumental in pioneering smart system implementations and achieving good financial results along with top internal auditing scores throughout his career.
As a qualified Chartered Accountant from India (ICAI), Chaturvedi demonstrated exceptional proficiency in completing the course at a young age. Despite his early success, he remains passionate about learning and is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification, awaiting completion of the final level. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance.
