Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Almosafer, a leading travel company in Saudi Arabia and part of the Seera Group, has announced a strategic partnership with Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind the regenerative tourism destinations The Red Sea and AMAALA. This collaboration aims to promote RSG’s tourism developments and bespoke offerings across Almosafer’s portfolio, catering to both inbound and domestic travelers.

The partnership aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which seeks to enhance Saudi Arabia’s luxury tourism and sustainability offerings. Almosafer will leverage its extensive experience in the tourism industry and knowledge of regional and global travel trends to increase the visibility of RSG’s destinations, including the world-class hotels and pristine ecosystems at The Red Sea, AMAALA, and Thuwal Private Retreat.

As part of the strategic initiatives under the partnership, both parties will host several in-depth workshops and specialized training services. These efforts aim to equip Almosafer’s sales agents with the knowledge and skills to showcase RSG’s destinations as unparalleled luxury experiences.

In addition, Almosafer and RSG will collaborate on targeted marketing and promotion campaigns to raise awareness among end consumers, positioning RSG’s destinations as must-visit luxury tourism hotspots. Almosafer will also curate customized experiences and promote the destination’s richness and diversity across various channels, including its consumer travel platform, Corporate Travel segment, and Discover Saudi, its Destination Management Company.

Muzzammil Ahussain, CEO of Almosafer, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it reflects a shared vision for redefining luxury travel and shaping the future of luxury tourism in Saudi Arabia. John Pagano, Group CEO at Red Sea Global, highlighted the growth of their portfolio, which is set to unlock the tourism potential of the Red Sea coast with a diverse range of experiences and offerings.

The Red Sea and AMAALA, with a total of 79 hotels, are projected to contribute SAR 33 billion (USD 8.79 billion) annually to the Kingdom’s economy upon completion. Both destinations sit on a combined land of more than 32,000km2. The Red Sea destination, which is off-grid and powered solely by sunlight, is scheduled for full completion in 2030. AMAALA, set against stunning landscapes and pristine ecosystems, aims to open eight resorts under Phase One in 2025. Thuwal Private Retreat, opening in 2024, is the third destination to be developed by RSG and the first to be owned and operated exclusively by the developer.
