Tripling of global robotics market to US$189.36 billion by 2027 and surge of AI drive STEMpedia on the hunt for future coders and innovators with Codeavour 5.0 International

Dubai, UAE – STEMpedia, in collaboration with ART PARK@IISc and various esteemed organizations, has successfully concluded the fifth edition of Codeavour 5.0 International, a pioneering tech competition aimed at nurturing young talents in coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI). Held at the Dubai American Academy on May 4th and 5th, the event witnessed over 1200 attendees from across 18 countries, comprising students, parents, mentors, principals, and visitors, congregating to celebrate youth-led innovation.

Codeavour 5.0 served as a platform for students to showcase their prowess in utilizing cutting-edge technologies like AI, machine learning, AR/VR, and robotics to address pressing global challenges, particularly those aligned with sustainability. Participants leveraged PictoBlox, a visual programming software, to develop innovative projects aimed at tackling environmental issues, thus contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

This year’s competition, jointly hosted by STEMpedia and ART PARK@IISc, garnered significant support from prominent organizations such as Startup India, Startup Nexus, CIIE.CO, and Industries Commissionerate of the Government of Gujarat, underscoring the event’s global significance in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth.

Dhrupal Shah, Director and CEO of STEMpedia, expressed his enthusiasm for the competition’s success, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to empowering young innovators. Notably, the top 20 winners have been awarded a trip to Mexico to participate in the FAB24 Event, accompanied by their mentors, further enriching their learning experience and industry exposure.

The event also received commendation from Sreejit Chakrabarty, Director of AI at GEMS Dubai American Academy, who stressed the importance of AI education for students across disciplines, citing competitions like Codeavour as invaluable opportunities for skill development and problem-solving.

Asha Jadeja Motwani, Founder of the Motwani Jadeja Foundation, reiterated the significance of early tech education, advocating for coding proficiency from a young age to prepare children for the jobs of the future, increasingly driven by AI and technological advancements.

Vikrant Goyal, co-founder of Inventant Education, emphasized the global reach and impact of Codeavour 5.0 International, lauding its focus on UN Sustainable Development Goals and its role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among future leaders in STEM fields.

With the global AI market projected to soar to $1.03 trillion by 2030 and the robotics industry poised for significant growth, initiatives like Codeavour 5.0 play a pivotal role in equipping the next generation with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in an increasingly digital and automated world.
