Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Almosafer, a leading travel company in Saudi Arabia and part of the Seera Group, has announced a strategic partnership with the Aseer Development Authority (ASDA). The collaboration aims to promote the picturesque Aseer region, located in the southwest of the Kingdom, as a top-tier global tourism destination.
The partnership will utilize Almosafer’s comprehensive range of travel services to drive tourism in Aseer and create unique experiences for visitors. The company’s extensive experience and geographical reach within the Kingdom will be crucial in introducing both regional and global tourists to the diverse entertainment, cultural, and sporting activities available in the Aseer region.
The shared vision of the partnership is to establish Aseer, set along the stunning Red Sea coast, as a year-round tourism destination for adventure seekers, nature lovers, and culture enthusiasts.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), ASDA will provide comprehensive training and advisory services to Almosafer’s front-line staff and other personnel. The training, delivered through the Almosafer Academy, will offer a detailed overview of Aseer and its unique selling points, highlight the region’s diverse array of experiences and attractions, and provide tailored training sessions in sales and booking systems.
Almosafer and ASDA will collaborate to position Aseer as a premier travel destination across Discover Saudi, Almosafer’s destination management company. Almosafer will create exciting package options for inbound and domestic travellers and target leisure travellers, particularly those extending their Umrah/Hajj trips to explore the hidden gems of Aseer.
The wide range of leisure offerings in Aseer will also be integrated into Almosafer Activities, the first-ever holistic tours and activities platform for the KSA market. This will enable both domestic and inbound travellers to enjoy a vibrant choice of personalized itineraries and curated experiences in the Kingdom.
Through its consumer travel business’s omnichannel network, Almosafer will drive destination awareness campaigns of Aseer’s rich cultural heritage, unique natural landscape, and adventure attractions to visitors within the Kingdom, the GCC, and across international markets. The campaigns will focus on the annual Aseer Season, which offers weeks of entertainment for visitors of all ages.
