The partnership was formalized through a signing ceremony held at the Irish Embassy in Riyadh, with support from Enterprise Ireland, the Irish government’s enterprise development agency.
Combilift, the largest global manufacturer of multidirectional, sideloading, and articulated forklifts, brings its cutting-edge technologies to the region, enabling customers to optimize their operations while significantly reducing their environmental impact.
Ali Abdulla Kanoo, Deputy Chairman of Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it aligns with the group’s commitment to sustainable innovations and the Saudi Green Initiative, which aims to reduce emissions, preserve natural resources, and enhance quality of life.
Fahad Fawzi Kanoo, Vice President of Kanoo Industrial and Energy and CEO of the Kanoo Group, emphasized the group’s dedication to offering sustainable solutions that address the industrial requirements of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) regions.
Combilift’s CEO and Co-founder, Martin McVicar, highlighted the company’s pioneering role in sustainability, with over 70% of their forklifts now electric-powered and 92% of their components recyclable, dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of their operations and those of their clients.
To assist companies in achieving more sustainable warehousing, manufacturing, and storage, Combilift and Kanoo Machinery UAE & KSA have agreed to offer a complimentary warehouse and storage planning consultancy service, helping clients visualize how to utilize their current space more effectively.
