Ariston Group Celebrates World Environment Day with Sustainable Initiatives

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – On World Environment Day, Ariston Group, a leading provider of heating and hot water solutions, reaffirmed its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability. The company has made significant strides in aligning its operations with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

According to Alberto Torner, Head of Ariston Group in the Middle East, Turkey, and Caucasus, the company’s mission is to deliver high-quality solutions while prioritizing environmental protection. Ariston Middle East’s commitment to innovation and sustainability is evident in projects leveraging heat pump technology and solar energy solutions.

The 2023 annual report, released in March 2024, highlights the Group’s progress in achieving its sustainability goals. While the target is to save 100 million tons of CO2 emissions by 2030, the company has already reached savings of 26.5 million tons due to its renewable and high-efficiency products.

Notably, Ariston Group avoided 26 million tons of CO2 emissions in 2023, a 7 million ton increase from 2020. Furthermore, 49% of its revenues now come from renewable technologies, and 75% are derived from H2-ready gas boilers, with 20% of these boilers certified H2-ready.

Ariston Middle East’s endeavors in Saudi Arabia exemplify its dedication to sustainability, aligning with the country’s Vision 2030 objectives. The company has implemented energy-saving and solar power solutions in various projects, including the Ministry of Interior office in Jeddah, Red Sea Ummahat Al Shaykh Islands, and hospitals such as Al-Magrabi Specialized Hospital and King Abdullah Hospital.

Alberto Torner expressed optimism about Ariston’s future in the region, particularly within the GCC, and commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its commitment to sustainability. He reaffirmed Ariston’s role as a corporate leader in spearheading sustainable initiatives, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to a cleaner, greener future.
