Dubai SME and Danube Group Forge Strategic Alliance to Boost Emirati-Owned SMEs

Dubai, UAE – Dubai SME, under the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and Danube Group have signed a Cooperation Agreement aimed at diversifying the buyer base and expanding market opportunities for Emirati-owned SMEs. This strategic partnership aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and supports the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, which aims to reinforce Dubai’s status as a global hub for business and leisure.

The signing ceremony was held at Danube Properties Headquarters in Dubai, attended by Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group, and Abdelbaset Mohammed Al Janahi, CEO of Dubai SME.

Abdelbaset Mohammed Al Janahi highlighted the significance of this agreement, emphasizing its role in expanding market opportunities and fostering a competitive environment for SMEs. He noted that the partnership exemplifies the successful model of public-private collaboration pivotal to the D33 Agenda, aimed at making Dubai the best city to visit, live, and work in. Al Janahi expressed gratitude for the support from private sector groups like Danube, underlining the commitment to ongoing stakeholder collaboration.

Rizwan Sajan, expressing pride in the partnership, reiterated Danube Group’s dedication to supporting the growth of Emirati SMEs in Dubai. He emphasized Dubai’s status as a hub of opportunities and commended the efforts of Dubai SME in driving economic growth and development.
